Koshaa is an authentic handcrafted sustainable apparel brand.
Problem:
Traditional Indian textiles are often positioned as heritage valued for their history, but disconnected from how younger audiences dress and express themselves today. This creates a gap between preservation and relevance.
Key Insight:
Tradition doesn’t stay alive by being preserved, it survives by adapting. When it evolves with the people who wear it, it becomes part of everyday culture again.
Approach:
Built a brand rooted in handcrafted textiles and artisan-led production, while reinterpreting them through contemporary silhouettes and styling. The identity balances cultural richness with modern expression allowing tradition to feel lived-in rather than ceremonial.
Outcome:
A culturally rooted ethnic brand that can scale across communication, seasonal collections, textiles and artisan collaborations.
